I introduced B to Apricots at the grocery store yesterday. He touched one and proclaimed “SOOO softy!” Now he has a new favorite, the “softy-cot.”

CPSC issues warning about slings

This time I’ve got an excuse. Since my last post, we’ve had two additions to our family, a goofy little boy - O - was born early February and in mid-November we took in a crazy kitten - Gnocchi.

Today B ate a Calamari tentical. What a weird kid.
Everytime B proudly sits on his chair I think of...
We just went to Tim Hortons with my parents. B had 3 TimBits within 10 minutes. After the third he was looking very woozy. Funny times.

We have a 900+ page book titled “what to expect: the toddler years.” They could have saved a lot of paper by printing one page with these two sentences: A lot of screaming! (Google the rest.)

B has started to take a few steps. I am told this is when the “real” parenting beings. Should I be worried? Waking up at all hours, changing stinking diapers and making sure B doesn’t maim himself seems like “real parenting” to me.
Whenever I run into one of our neighbours in the halls they give me grumpy looks. I have a feeling it has something to do with B waking up and screaming at odd hours while they are trying to sleep.
Last night B woke up around 2:30 and was particularly loud. I noticed the upstairs neighbour running a bath (or shower) about half an hour later. I’m not sure if she was trying to send us a...

B has discovered toilet water.
Just took Little B for a 45 minute drive in the car to try to get him to sleep. He generally falls asleep after 10 or 15. This time, he stayed awake and giggled at the passing streetlights. It would be totally frustrating if he wasn’t so darn cute.
